The Universal Methylated Human DNA Standards is designed for use as positive controls to assess the efficiency of bisulfite-mediated conversion of DNA in combination with the EZ DNA Methylation™ family of products. The control DNA can be assayed in parallel with samples to monitor the bisulfite conversion reaction. The primer set has been designed to amplify a fragment of the supplied DNA following bisulfite treatment.
