The Experion automated electrophoresis system delivers fast, reproducible results for protein, RNA, and DNA separations. Experion software adds to the efficiency of this microfluidic system by providing easy access to setting up and running an experiment and to data analysis functions. In addition to automatic calculations and basic data analysis tools, the latest software release, version 3.20, enables the user to have more control over the data analysis and adds easy-to-use, convenient data-handling features. Version 3.20 includes a validated RNA quality indicator (RQI) number automatically assigned for eukaryotic total RNA samples. RQI enables users to easily judge the integrity of their total RNA sample in addition to the visual aid of the electropherogram and reported ribosomal peak area ratio. The ability to manually integrate peaks also enables easy data analysis.
